BCI, together with 12 other partners across Europe, is participating in the Lost Millennials project. Launched in November 2021, the 27-month project is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment.

The project focuses on a specific group of the Millennial generation that has received little attention — young people between the ages of 25 and 29 who are not in employment, education, or training (25+ NEETs). Through the project, partners are creating a transnational network of researchers and experts sharing knowledge and best practices, evaluating government and community-based initiatives targeting 25+ NEETs, implementing capacity-building events, and engaging stakeholders to recommend policy initiatives.

BCI is conducting the research for Malta, investigating policies and initiatives targeting 25+ NEETS. We will be looking at evaluation practices applied to analyze the impact of the different measures. We will publish country reports and project updates on our website.
