Dear , we know... it's been a while since we've been in touch. Besides enjoying the Maltese summer, we've been busy on various projects. Now that we have a few days to take a breath, we'd like to share a couple of snippets with you.

International Day of the Girl Child

Yesterday was the International Day of the Girl Child.  Inspired by the theme “With Her: A Skilled Girl Force” Carlo wrote about being inspired by his skilled girl force. You can read his blog post on our website here.

And yes, Carlo refers to his daughter as "kick-ass" because she is!

Our Continued support to women-focused Libyan CSOs

Mohammad Tunis

Last week the BCI team was in Tunis working with women-focused Libyan civil society organisations which, with the support of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, are implementing small projects as part of the UK Government funded Ante Raeda Program. 

At the Tunis gathering, Mohammad employed his technical magic to facilitate a collaborative discussion of women activists from Lebanon, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia and Libya.  He also worked with the Libyan organisations to produce videos to help them tell the stories of their projects.  We’ll be uploading those videos soon on our website and our YouTube Channel
